Mankind's direct aquatic thermal contribution has also created an unnatural worldwide thermal presence, which is more responsible for the decline in the planetary ice, than the atmospheric CO2's. The reason that our direct thermal contribution has accumulated within the ocean waters, is because the oceans have a predominant inwards direction of conduction, ontop of the fact that water is a good storage facility for thermal energy. If we do not aggressively address this thermal contamination, we will never restablize the planet's ice, even if we stopped producing atmospheric carbon all together.
