Taking Action on Climate Change
Nuclear fission
There's enough Uranium & Thorium in the oceans to provide all of the world's energy, and rivers renew the supply all the time. No need for countries to fight wars over supplies. The UN estimates that smoke from fossil fuels and biomass kills 2.5 million people per year (that's far more than Chernobyl, every single day), and that number would be far higher without nuclear.
